About Chris Craig – "The Bluenoser"

Chris Craig, better known on stage as The Bluenoser, is a Canadian singer, guitarist, songwriter, entertainer, and storyteller whose music has been touching audiences for decades.

Born and raised in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Chris grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of East Coast music. Those early influences helped shape a style that blends classic country, folk, Maritime favourites, old-time rock and roll, and heartfelt storytelling into performances that audiences of all ages enjoy.

Music has always been more than entertainment for Chris—it has been a lifelong passion. Over the years he has performed for festivals, community events, private functions, seniors' residences, and retirement communities, where his warm personality, sense of humour, and ability to connect with people have made him a favourite wherever he plays. Whether performing familiar sing-alongs, timeless country classics, or original songs, Chris creates an atmosphere that encourages audiences to sing, laugh, reminisce, and enjoy the moment.

Away from the stage, Chris has built an equally diverse career as an award-winning wildlife photographer, videographer, author, speaker, entrepreneur, and educator. His experiences travelling, meeting people from all walks of life, and overcoming personal challenges have inspired many of the songs he performs and writes.

Today, Chris continues to share his love of music throughout Alberta and beyond while also writing and publishing children's books through his Sketch Rabbit series. Whether he is performing for a room of seniors, entertaining families at a community event, or sharing one of his original compositions, his goal remains the same: to bring people together through music, memories, and meaningful stories.

For Chris Craig, every performance is about more than playing songs—it's about creating lasting memories, one audience at a time.
